Abstract
This research aims at defining the science of teaching and its accompanying terms in different era and civilizations, then it presents it historical appearance and development across times and spaces, in addition, to mentioning some contributions of intellectual and practical scholars who enliven it in educational field, especially in the Algerian education. The writer tries to investigate its relationships with some psychological and educational subjects such as the curriculum, the objective, child psychology and on.
