دور التفاؤل غير الواقعي في ارتكاب الحوادث المرورية لدى السائقين الشباب

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the extent of the prevalence of the unreal optimism of the young drivers and the nature of the differences among the traffic accidents’ committers and others. We applied a questionnaire of the unreal optimism which was adapted on Kuwaiti environment by B.M.Alansar. we used a sample of 240 drivers. After having the data which was subjected to a statistical analysis by SPSS program, the results show that the traffic accidents’ committers have high levels of unreal optimism than those who did not commit accidents and there were no significant statistical differences among the married drivers and single ones.
