Quality of life among mothers of children with mental disabilities in the light of some

variables.A descriptive study of the mentally disabled mothers of the state of Mostaganem

Abstract

The objective of this study is to discover the level of quality of life of mothers of mentally handicapped children, at the pedagogical centers of Mostaganem, with regard to the variables of educational level and the type of handicap. For this purpose, the sample includes 178 mothers from the wilaya of Mostaganem. the study reveals the following results

1. There are statistically significant differences between the arithmetic means of the quality of life dimensions of mothers of children with mental disabilities.

2.There are statistically significant differences in the quality of life of mothers of children with mental disabilities, with respect to the child's standard disability variable

There are statistically significant differences in the quality of life of mothers of children with mental disabilities in terms of educational attainment
