Primary education teachers' attitudes towards the content of values and attitudes in the second-generation approaches
A field study of the teachers of the second year of primary education, the Directorate of Education for the State of Mostaganem
Abstract
The current study aims at revealing the attitudes of the teachers of the second year of primary education towards the content of values and attitudes in the second generation curricula. A random sample of 336 teachers ( 257 females and 79 males)were chosen in the Directorate of Education of Mostaganem State during the academic year 2016/2017. The researcher followed the steps of the descriptive approach. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, he used a measure of trends, the validity and consistency of the signs were verified. After the statistical analysis by the T test for one sample, the study found that the teachers of primary education have positive attitudes towards values and attitudes in the second generation approach which is contained in: Arabic language, Islamic education, civic education.
The study concluded that the valuation came by the second generation of reforms that have touched the content of values curriculum.
