Summary, etc. To evaluate the agronomic quality of compost based of Acacia cyanophylla ground wood for the production of vegetable seedlings, mixtures based on Peat (SA) and screened forest compost (CSC), at two different maturities (C1 and C2) and at different proportions were realized, to produce tomato plants (Lycopersicon esculentum), while looking for the ratio to be incorporated. The follow-up examined the germinative and vegetative behaviors (Growth in height) of tomato plants installed on various Peat + CSC mixtures. The resulting culture substrates showed better agronomic results. The incorporation of CSC with peat has a remarkable positive effect on germination, and consequently on plant growth, in terms of height. Overall, the partial substitution of peat for 20-40% or even 50% of screened forest compost (with a maturity exceeding 6 months) revealed encouraging results. Further experiments are needed to evaluate the temporal evolution of the physicochemical characteristics of the substrates and the agronomic behavior of the vegetable growing plants in order to confirm or infirm the results obtained.
