Abstract

This work aims to contribute to the formulation of redeployment strategies / restructuring of public industrial enterprises by mobilizing strategic management tools and concepts to help in building choices and decisions.

Neo-institutional theories can find a field of application in strategic analysis knowing that the business concept has evolved from a technical-productive structure (classical theory) to an institution.

We chose a company belonging to a strong competition branch: the national company of home appliance industries (ENIEM)). Our work spans the period from 2000 till today. Indeed, since 2001, the Algerian government has set up a three-year program to support economic recovery and improving the business environment (2001-2004) followed by the second economic recovery program (2005 -2009). Eventhough a significant allocation of resources, public company recorded impairment in performance.
