La définition naturelle comme moyen de vulgarisation des concepts économiques dans la presse et les chaînes radiophoniques
Résumé
This contribution aims to address the problem of the scientific popularization of the terms of the
economy in radio broadcasts and in the print media through natural definitions. These defining
processes used by economists and economic journalists can give rise to eighteen different types
of definitions. We therefore carried out a study on a corpus from radio and the written press to
identify the different ways of moving from a primary discourse (for specialists) to a secondary
discourse (for non-specialists). The types of definition are organized according to their
membership of the reference type or the linguistic type.
