PARADIGMES Journal

The Paradigmes journal publishes original scientific articles that are assessed for qualitythroughitsadherence to the principles of the code of ethics for publishing and the prevention of false practices.

The Code of Ethicsislisted in the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and serves as a guide for authors, researchers and other stakeholders in the publication of articles in the journal by reviewers, consultants and publishers, sothat the journal targets the unification of standards of action. The Code of Ethicsis an agreement, and isthereforefullycommitted to itsimplementationwith the acceptance of responsibility and the fulfillment of the duties and responsibilities of each party.

1. Publisher’s responsibility

1.1. Publication decisions

Copyrights and citations of previousscientificworks must berespected in order to preserve the rights of otherswhenpublishing articles in the journal. The publisherisresponsible for the decision of publication and isbased on the policy of the journal and compliance withlegalrequirements for publication, in particularwith regard to defamation, or violation of the copyrights of others or hacking. The editor mayalsoconsult the editorialboard or reviewers to make a decision.

1.2. Integrity

The editor ensuresthat the content of each article isevaluatedregardless of the author'sgender, origin, religiousbeliefs, citizenship or political affiliation.

1.3. Privacy

Information about authorsshouldbekepthighlyconfidential and kept by all people who have access to itsuch as the editor, members of the editorialboard, anymemberinvolved in the writing, publication and other parties involved in the review processevaluation.

1.4. Express consent

The researchresults of others on articles not accepted for publication, may not beexploited or usedwithout the written permission or authorization of the author.

2. reviewer’s Responsibility

2.1. Contribution to the Publication Decision

The reviewer (resident) helps the editor and the editorialboard to make the decision to publish as well as to help the author to improve the article and to correct it.

2.2. Speed of service and Deadlines

The reviewer must initiate and accelerate the evaluation of the article sent to him on time. If thisis not possible afterpriorstudy of the article, he must inform the editor that the subjectdoes not fallwithinhisfield. The reviewer shouldalsoinform the editor that the reviewmaybedelayed due to lack of time or lack of sufficientresources for the review.

2.3. Privacy

All information about the article must beconfidential. The reviewer must seek to maintaintheirconfidentiality and may not disclose or discusstheir content withany party otherthanthoseauthorized by the publisher.

2.4. Objectivity

The reviewer must provehisreview and evaluation of the research, whichisdirected to him, by arguments and objective evidence and avoid arbitration on the basis of hispersonal, racial, sectarian and other opinion.

2.5. Source Selection

The reviewer shouldattempt to identify sources and referencesrelating to topics that the author has not cited. Anytext or paragraphtakenfromotherpreviouslypublishedworksshouldbeproperlycited. The reviewer must inform the editor and warnhim of anysimilar or overlappingwork, with the workbeingreviewed.

2.6. Conflict of interest

The reviewer shall not review articles for personal gain, i.e. shall not accept arbitration of articles by whichtheremaybeinterests of persons or institutions or personalrelationships.

3. Author’s responsibility

3.1. Preparation criteria

The author must submit original research and presentitaccurately and objectively in a mannerthatisscholarly, and consistent with the characteristics of the articles – whether in terms of language, form, or content, in accordance with the publishing standards and policies of the review. The authorshould show the data correctly, through full reference and considering the rights of others in the article. The author must avoidshowing sensitive, immoral, taste, personal, ethnic, doctrinal, counterfeit and inaccurate information or translating the work of otherswithoutmentioning the source of the quotation in the article.

3.2. Originality and piracy

The author must prove the originality of hiswork;anyquotation or use of paragraphs or words of others must becitedappropriately and correctly – the journal reserves the right to use piracydetection programs for workssubmitted for publication.

3.3. Repost

The authorcannotsubmit the samework (article) to more than one journal or conference – doingsoisconsidered immoral and unacceptable behavior.

3.4. Data Access and Retention

The author must retain the private data used in his article and submitit, as requested, to the editor or reviewer.

3.5. Authors of the Article

The authors of the article shouldbelimited (the number) to authorswho have appeared in the article, to contributions in a significant and clearwayboth in terms of design, implementation and interpretation, with the need to identify the responsibleauthor of the article – who has an important role in the preparation of the article. Since the rest of the authors are alsocited in the article, the author of the article must ensurethat the names and information of all authors are present and that no othernames are includedwithoutisactually the author of the article. All authors must beknowledgeable about the article, agreeexplicitly on whatiscontainedaccording to the publication rules.

3.6. Bibliography and References

The author of the article isobliged to indicate the references in an appropriatemanner; the textshouldinclude all books, publications, websites and otherresearch by people in the list of sources and referencescited or mentioned in the text of the article.

3.7. Report Errors

If the authorbecomesaware of the existence of a fundamentalerror or of inaccuracies of the detailsquoted in his article, he must immediately, and at any time, notify the editor of the journal or the publisher, and cooperatewithhim to correct the error.

The journal Paradigmes is non-commercial and does not impose evaluation, publication acceptance and printing fees.

When an article isaccepted, the copyright isautomaticallytransferred to the journal Paradigmes.

The copyright of all articles published in the journal Paradigmes isretained by the authorsconcerned in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution license; no commercial use; no modification 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

4.4. Open Access Policy

All articles published by the journal Paradigmes are freely and permanentlyconsulted online as soon as they are published, withouthindrance, including the full text of existingresearch articles, in accordance with the principleaccording to which“free access to researchpromotes a greatergreat global exchange of knowledge”.
