This contribution is a review of a special issue that focuses on a social
phenomenon on the one hand and societal on the other. It’s about graffiti. It highlights the
work of a dozen teacher-researchers, whose research axis is graffiti. Each contribution
presents an aspect of graffiti, whether in Tlemcen, Oran, Mostaganem, Algiers, Tizi Ouzou,
Morocco or Egypt
