  • Feriel LAMRI

Résumé

This article will be devoted to the study of the discursive strategy of laughing which characterized Ahmadou Kourouma's writing. Indeed, long denouncing tirades are essentially carried out through acerbic speech that tends to make people laugh in tragic situations. This constant use of this strategy of laughing can be explained by its effectiveness in terms of conveying a subversive dimension of the novel. In this regard, we will try to look for the way which makes a humorous speech that fulfills a several new functions in Ahmadu Kourouma’s Allah n’est pas obligé.
