The demonic laughter in film adaptations

A grimace, oversized, sinister or terrifying smile, what if the success and notoriety of a book hangs in the mouth of an actor? From graphic to visual, this article seeks to understand the influence that the actor’s demonic laughter has on the perception of the wicked romantic character once brought to the screens. Through an analysis of the image of malicious laughter and a reflection on the archetype of the villainous character conveyed by cinema, we will study this passage of demonic laughter in popular culture and its impact on the work of the book
