From The Semantic Role to The Frame Diachronic Study of The Notion of The Semantic Role
Résumé
La notion de rôle sémantique a connu une évolution historique remarquable depuis les années 1960. L’étude diachronique adoptée, nous a permis de mettre en relief le glissement sémantique de cette notion. Ainsi cette notion a été répandue, d’abordée, dans la grammaire casuelle de Fill-more en tant que terme renvoyant aux cas profonds qui se trouvent dans la phrase. En contrepartie, elle s’est opposée aux notions traditionnelles trai-tées par Chomsky : (P : SN+SV). L’importance de ces cas a encouragé Fill-more à développer ses travaux en linguistique, notamment en linguistique cognitive, ce qui a donné, par la suite, la théorie des cadres sémantiques. Cette dernière renvoie au cadre mental auquel se trouvent les rôles séman-tiques. Par conséquent, l’apport de cette théorie sémantique mentale dans la linguistique a suscité l’intérêt des informaticiens de sorte qu’ils l’ont adoptée pour créer une base de données FrameNet anglaise. En d’autres termes, la notion du rôle sémantique a été évoluée selon un axe diachronique et à travers deux sciences : la linguistique et l’intelligenceartificielle.
