The Emergence of Digital Platforms as New Sites of Knowledge Opportunities and Risks for Research in Humanities and Social Sciences in Algeria
Résumé
Cette étude explore l’influence des plateformes numériques sur les investigations en Sciences de l’Homme et de la Société (SHS) dans le contexte algérien, en mettant en lumière les avantages et les écueils poten-tiels. S’appuyant sur une approche hybride alliant analyses qualitatives et évaluatives, notamment des examens de situations spécifiques et des témoignages de la part spécialistes du domaine. La réalité dévoile que ces écosystèmes numériques facilitent l’obtention de données, renforcent les synergies et accroissent la portée des travaux scientifiques. Néanmoins, ils soulèvent également des interrogations quant à la fiabilité des sources, les enjeux déontologiques et légaux, ainsi que les disparités dans l’accès à ces ressources. Les résultats indiquent que, bien que ces plateformes représen-tent une opportunité significative pour la recherche en SHS en Algérie, elles nécessitent une approche prudente. L’étude recommande le développe-ment de formations pour les chercheurs, la mise en place de politiques institutionnelles, l’investissement dans l’infrastructure numérique, et la pro-motion de collaborations entre chercheurs et experts en technologie pour optimiser l’utilisation de ces plateformes dans le contexte de la science en Algérie
