CARTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE OF THE RECENT DISSEMINATION OF THE ARGAN TREE IN NORTHERN MOROCCO

Abstract
GIS cartographic processing was carried out to verify a hypothesis put forward by some authors, stating that the position of isolated argan tree stations in northern Morocco is due to recent dissemination. With cartographic evidence, we were able to deduce a historical link between the 10th and 12th century, where the caravan routes crossed the two islets, Beni-Snassen and Wadi Grou.
