Student Plagiarism, a Concern for Ethics and Docimology “It’s not Just Politeness!”

Résumé

Plagiarism is a multidimensional subject that has become a research object in
academic community. This phenomenon is a ruthless enemy of originality of thought and
reflection. The question arises: does letting plagiarize allow us to properly assess and train our
students at university? In this present research, we will study the phenomenon of plagiarism in
the research work of master 1 students at the University of El oued as well as its causes and
consequences on the evaluation and scientific performance of these.
